Fuel Tank Fire Protection Systems

The foam system is considered the essential element in protecting fuel tanks, as a special foam is used to cover the fuel surface with an insulating layer that prevents oxygen from reaching it and limits the rise of flammable vapors, thus contributing to extinguishing the fire quickly and with high efficiency.
The systems also include a water cooling system, which cools the tank body and adjacent tanks to prevent overheating and explosions caused by increased internal pressure.
